This project was initially considered an impossible feat due to its proximity to a saltwater inlet. The original home even featured rail tracks running from the water to the basement, used for hauling the owner’s sailboat into dry storage. While the finished result is nothing short of spectacular, achieving it was a true science project. With nineteen structural jogs designed to respect tight property-line setbacks, this home stands as a testament to precision, ingenuity, and perseverance.
